Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has surpassed one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances news eu farmers and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
The prevention effort is part of wider social programmes supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
